Crowns

If a large part of the tooth is missing and a filling would not be strong enough,  a crown may be needed. To crown a tooth we reshape it to a cone shape and take an impression.

We construct a crown in our dental laboratory that will cover the whole tooth. On your second appointment the crown will be fitted permanently.

Crowns like fillings are made of different materials like metal e.g. gold crown, porcelain or a combination of metal and porcelain where a stronger metal core is covered by a tooth coloured porcelain.

If you need a crown we can provide you with highly aesthetic all ceramic solutions. You can opt for E-MAX all ceramic crown especially for your front teeth with superb translucency and tooth like appearance.  For an all ceramic super strong crown further back in your mouth we recommend ZIRCONIA.
